Neville Duckworth with Diana Palmerston and David Jones after their performance of the great Schubert song: “The Shepherd on the Rock” at Neville’s birthday concert in June, 2009.
In the second half, Neville was joined by Paul Blissett on piano, Pete Willmott on double bass and Paul Turner on drums. Saxophonist Mike Hall made a surprise appearance and the evening came to a wonderful swinging climax.

We are happy to tell you that we have a concert on 20th April featuring Maria Stratigou, a fine young pianist from Athens. She began her piano studies at the age of seven, studied at the Conservatory of Athens and graduated in June 2007 winning the first prize of the Conservatory. She went on to take a postgraduate degree at the Royal Scottish Conservatoire of Music. Since then she has won many prizes and has performed in different venues throughout the UK, Italy, Czech Republic and her homeland, Greece. The programme will include music by Schubert and the UK premiere of a piece by Gianopoulos.
